Behind the scenes footage of a BBC film crew on location filming Wasteland as part of a documentary for BBC Television about adult entertainment on the internet in 2003.
Director’s Note: Early in 2003, we were contacted by a BBC documentary producer asking if they would be willing to have their crew, as part of a filming trip to the USA, stop by our studio for a day and take footage of us filming some of our scenes. With a stroke of luck, we had our most talented couple of the time, Nina and Rick scheduled to be available and they set up a elaborate scene involving a street person abducting a business woman and ravaging her in a storage locker before she turns the tables on him and beats him to a pulp. The BBC crew and producer showed up and, although looking a bit confused at first, totally enjoyed the creative process once things got rolling. The series aired on the BBC in March, 2004 and Wasteland was literally swamped with email from folks in Great Britain about the documentary they saw on TV. Many joined as a member. Many of them remain members to this day in 2009 at the writing of this note.
